This figure is inspired by Native American folk tale of Skywoman. She is seen falling from the sky. In her fall she is helped by various animals, which results in a collaborative creation of the Turtle island. The animals build the island and the Skywoman seeds it with seeds from the great beyond that she has brought with her. In some versions her hair is made of sweetgrass.

The grass made of hair inspired a series of isolated nude figures. The hair is evolving with/into nature, bringing the figure closer to its natural roots. There is a play of isolation and environmental disconnect .
